The screen shows you what would happen; the server is what refuses. Hiding a button is not protection.
What is deleted or blanked for good
The old system touches two tables when deleting and leaves the rest as it is. Here the whole record is walked.
- the player account row
- their device tokens for notifications
- their stored profile photo
- follows in both directions, and the counts they moved
- pokes sent and received
- friend suggestions holding a copy of the name, photo and number
- contacts this player uploaded from their phone
- contacts other players uploaded that hold this number
- their statistics in each sport
- leaderboard rows holding a copy of the name and photo
- notification and message records that name the number
- audit records of changes to this account
What stays for the accounts
The booking, its amount, its date and the club, with a mark that points to nobody instead of the player: no account number, no name, no mobile.
